What is 2026 about, for you?

I’ve waited for this year while enjoying the ups and downs of parenting life for the past 3 years.
I went from working in business development, to sales…regulatory affairs… project manager.. to then deciding that I needed a career reset to prioritise family and my wellbeing.

Today is the morning my youngest child starts creche for the first time. Emotions are plenty, yet this is a pivotal moment. Life has been different for the past while – with a twist of quiet resilience.

This year is about upskilling, networking and creation. Fostering connections and creating from the ground up. A focus on learning the skills not only essential for business but which also make me smile:)

To start the year off, I am now a fellow toastmaster about to make her ice breaker speech, and pushing myself toward my long term goal of fluency in Spanish.

I am not diving into full time employment right away. We are only just starting to find our way again.

I don’t know what life has in store this year or where my path will take me.

But what I do know is that,
2026 is all about letting myself fully be.
