
I’m Shaleen.Since early adolescence, I dealt with self-destructive behaviour. I could not seem to see the good in myself, let alone in the world. I struggled with feelings of deep sorrow and depression and could not understand why.
On the surface, everything was normal, and I had a healthy upbringing. I questioned my health for years, attempted therapy, and finally, one day, as if I had a sudden awakening, I came to a big conclusion. Only I could help myself be the best version of me. I thought, “surely if I can spin in this circle of negativity, I could train my mind to think in a positive loop as well.”
And that was it. This started my journey into training my mind and body to believe and to understand that it is possible to live a positively energetic life, filled with the normal ups and downs.
This blog started in 2016 and is the result of the teachings, experiences, and thoughts I have possessed since my self-development journey began over 10 years ago.Take this as my online self-development diary – of sorts. Our thoughts can and do create our reality.
